The foundation of the entire system. Before you look at a single chart, the Macro Heat Map tells you whether the macro environment is favourable or hostile for crypto. 8 macro conditions are scored simultaneously — DXY direction and momentum, gold, oil, VIX, SPX trend, BTC dominance and US10Y yields — collapsed into a single risk rating.

DXY Direction — weak dollar is bullish for BTC
DXY Momentum — is dollar strength accelerating or fading
Gold Trend — gold falling signals risk-on appetite
Oil Direction — falling oil means lower inflation pressure
VIX Level — below 20 is low fear, above 30 is high fear
SPX Trend — rising S&P means healthy risk appetite
